Think of Unsocial Gatherings as a helper and partner in unsocial life. Like you, the author has experienced some of the difficulties you have with socializing. This blog will feature many things: humor, tips, opinions, news, and other things related to this unsocial world.
What we do not include: self-doubt, self-defeat, self-depreciation, and anything that will bring you down. The goals here are to offer uplifting content as a way to help you to feel better about yourself. The idea of self-acceptance, self-love, and self-esteem are promoted to help you learn that it’s not bad to be socially inept and that you can have a fun, full life in spite of it.
Not just for those who suffer from disorders that influence their social capabilities, this blog is the voice of our community. No longer will be seen as the hopeless, invisible bunch, but rather the human beings who socialize differently.
The idea is that you will take away is an understanding of those with social shortcomings, embrace yourself as your are, and the encouragement to find and define happiness on your own terms. Be social or don’t be social, the choice is your’s and you do not have to rely on the definition and standards set by society for happiness, behavior, success, and more.
If you lack hope, please know that you are not alone and that you do not have to suffer. Visit here for a laugh or words of encouragement. You are not alone and you deserve to be happy. You are more than just a socially awkward individual.

Remember: self-acceptance and self-love are the key. Social Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Introversion, Agoraphobia (& much more) are difficult, but it doesn’t mean you can’t live your life. ❤
